Since 1999, the develoPPP.de support programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has been supporting private sector projects in emerging markets where business opportunities and development policy needs intersect. In cooperation with one of the two implementing organisations - Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG) or Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) - your company receives technical and financial support for implementing such development partnerships. The projects create sustainable structures that have positive medium - to long-term effects, both for your company's business and for the local population in the respective target market. The following measures, for example, are supported within the framework of development partnerships:
