energiewaechter organized an expert workshop on “Future perspectives of building construction under the challenge of the German Energiewende” commissioned by a medium-sized construction company. The workshop was designed to show challenges arising from the new political setting with regard to energy and climate policy for the construction industry and to point out possible solutions. The supply and integration of more renewables into the new energy mix, the setting of higher efficiency standards, the demand for energy management systems and reduced energy costs in future design buildings were among the topics discussed.
